Hi!!! :)

Today I'm going to tolk about the excurcion which we made on the 23 october to Barcelona.
The excurcion consisted in a guided visit where one part of the visit was to see the life and the evolution and profesional career of J.G.Ballard, (the science fiction writer). What we saw was very interesting but would have been more interesting if it had been better organized.
This was the seriose and obligatory side of our visit, us it was the made for the school pupils, but then we had the enjoyable side when we had free time to visit Barcelona.
Here I'll show you some pictures of the excursion.

***American Elections***

Hi!!!
Today I'm going to tolk about the contraverty of the Americant Elections.
This is the story of a dream come though in the words of Martin Luther King "I have a dream" that one day a negro would be sitting in the White Hause.
The fact that Obama has won the elections is going to be a great change in the world, because that could be the begining of the end of reasismo. It's going to be very strange to see a colored president in the USA.
He will have a very big task to get America back in its feet. The crisis, the stock exchange, the problems with banks and the world crisis in general.
I think America needed a president young and whith new ideas, the only problem that I can see is if he will be allaued to follow his ideas and believes.
Summing up I think the future and the hope for the rest of the world is called Obama

Bulgarian dances

General characteristics

Bulgarian folk dances are normally line dances, with hands joined either in low "V" hold, belt hold (na pojas), crossed in front or "W" hold. Footwork can vary from fast intricate steps (as in the Šop Region) to slow sustained cat-like movements (as in some of the dances from the Pirin region). Dances from the north have some of the characteristics of dances from southern Romania, just across the Danube, i.e. fast crossing steps, dances from the Pirin Region in the West have much in common with dances from Yugoslav Macedonia, and dances from the Šop region round Sofia have similar characteristics to those from eastern Serbia. This illustrates how boundaries of dance styles do not necessarily conform with politically imposed nationally boundaries.
Regional dance styles

Dobruja

Dobrujans dance with their knees always bent and their backs hollow. They all seem to be of short stature and solid. To get the feel of Dobrujan dancing stand with your feet apart and bend your knees as far as you can comfortably with your feet flat on the floor, push your ribs forward while keeping your back straight and stay there throughout the dance!
The story told is that life is hard for the Dobrud_an farmer as he has to struggle with nature in order to survive, so his dancing, with strong downward movements, expresses his struggle with the land.
When a Dobrud_an dances he uses his whole body. Hands are joined crossed in front, in belt hold, in "W" hold or placed with back of hand on hips palms open and facing outwards. They are also used for strong, firm, positive arm movements. R_ka, which means hand, is one of the characteristic dances of this area.
Men and women dance together, though there are some dances for men or women only. Women's movements are simpler and lighter with slight shoulder twists.

Terrorism

Terrorism is a controversial term with no internationally agreed single definition. There are however several International conventions on terrorism with somewhat different definitions. The United Nations see this lack of agreement as a serious problem. In one modern sense, it is violence against civilians to achieve political or ideological objectives by creating fear. Most common definitions of terrorism include only those acts which are intended to create fear (terror), are perpetrated for an ideological goal (as opposed to a lone attack), and deliberately target or disregard the safety of non-combatants. Some definitions also include acts of unlawful violence and war.
Terrorism is also a form of unconventional warfare and psychological warfare. The word is politically and emotionally charged, and this greatly compounds the difficulty of providing a precise definition. One 1988 study by the US Army found that over 100 definitions of the word "terrorism" have been used. A person who practices terrorism is a terrorist.
Terrorism has been used by a broad array of political organizations in furthering their objectives; both right-wing and left-wing political parties, nationalistic, and religious groups, revolutionaries and ruling governments. The presence of non-state actors in widespread armed conflict has created controversy regarding the application of the laws of war.

Poverty

Poverty is deprivation of those things that determine the quality of life, including food, clothing, shelter and safe drinking water, but also "intangibles" such as the opportunity to learn and to enjoy the respect of fellow citizens. Ongoing debates over causes, effects and best ways to measure poverty, directly influence the design and implementation of poverty-reduction programs and are therefore relevant to the fields of international development and public administration.

Bullying

Bullying is the act of intentionally causing harm to others, through verbal harassment, physical assault, or other more subtle methods of coercion such as manipulation. Bullying can be defined in many different ways. Although the UK currently has no legal definition of bullying, some US states have laws against it. Bullying is usually done to coerce others by fear or threat.
Bullying in school and the workplace is also referred to as peer abuse.
In colloquial speech, bullying often describes a form of harassment perpetrated by an abuser who possesses more physical and/or social power and dominance than the victim. The victim of bullying is sometimes referred to as a target. The harassment can be verbal, physical and/or emotional. Sometimes bullies will pick on people bigger or smaller than their size. Bullies hurt people verbally and physically because they themselves have been the victim of bullying, (e.g. a bullying child who is abused at home, or bullying adults who are abused by their colleagues).

Abortion

An abortion is the removal or expulsion of an embryo or fetus from the uterus, resulting in or caused by its death. The spontaneous expulsion of a fetus or embryo before the 20th week of gestational age is commonly known as a miscarriage. Induced abortion is the removal or expulsion of an embryo or fetus by medical, surgical, or other means at any point during human pregnancy for therapeutic or elective reasons. The approximate number of induced abortions performed worldwide in 2003 was 42 million.
Throughout recorded history, abortion has been induced by various traditional medicine methods, including botanical abortifacients, the use of sharpened tools, and abdominal pressure.
The moral and legal aspects of abortion are subject to intense social debate in many parts of the world. Aspects of this debate can include the public health impact of unsafe or illegal abortion as well as legal abortion's effect upon crime rates, and the ramifications of sex-selective practices.

The environment

The environment

The environment, in the biophysical context, is the physical and biological factors along with their chemical interactions that affect an organism. In other contexts environment may also be used to refer to the immediate surroundings, to a milieu or to the environs within a system or topic, for instance computer science.
The scope of the biophysical environment is all that contained in the biosphere, which is that part of the Earth in which all life occurs. Ecosystems, of which there are numerous types and are a defined part of the biosphere, collectively make up the whole of the biosphere. Within an ecosystem there are habitats in which an organism (including humans) exists. The environment can be divided into two categories - the natural environment and the built environment, with some overlap between the two. At its most natural, an environment would lack any effects of human activity, although the scale of this activity is such that all areas of the Earth have had at least some influence by humans. At the other end of the scale is the built environment and in some cases it has the biotic component that is virtually absent.
